Aashna Jamal worked as the Budget Lead (ODI Fellow) in the Ministry of Finance, Timor-Leste between 2018-2020 and then continued on as an advisor to the Ministry of Education, Timor-Leste between 2021-2023. Currently, she is the Macro-Fiscal Advisor to four Federal Member States in Somalia under PREMIS 2.
